What better way to end 2025 than on a good note!
I’ve always believed that writing is a remembering of feelings, fragments, and fleeting truths. Bits of Me is the collection I never thought I’d publish, because it felt too close to the bone. But here it is: a gathering of poems, prose, and reflections that trace the emotional terrain I’ve walked, stumbled through, and sometimes danced across.
This book is not a polished monument. It’s a mosaic of moments - my feelings and emotions, my creativity. It holds the quiet ache of longing, the mythic shimmer of hope, and the small rebellions of everyday life.
Bits of Me is more than a writing reflection of my past - it is my past. It's something I've looked forward to in classes, propositions I've held my ground on, and stories that I've always thought meant more.
Why I Published It
I published Bits of Me because I wanted to honor the imperfect, the in-progress, the emotionally true. I tried to give voice to the drafts that taught me something, the metaphors that wouldn’t let go, and the characters who whispered their stories even when I wasn’t ready to hear them.

Inspiration to publish came from my father. A quiet force of ambition for me that I never thought possible from one individual. While he has always been in my corner, I knew this wasn't an expectation pushed on me, but a truth revealed in myself.
One evening, after reading a piece I’d tucked away for years, he looked at me and said, “You should share this. Someone else needs it.”
That sentence stayed with me. Not because it was grand, but because it was true. My father saw something worth offering. Not polished perfection, but emotional truth. His belief reminded me that stories don’t have to be universal to matter—they have to be honest.
Publishing this collection is my way of honoring that belief. Of saying: I trust the quiet voice. I trust the fragments. I trust that someone, somewhere, might find comfort in the same lines that moved him.

Read & Reflect: Your Voice Matters
If Bits of Me finds its way into your hands, I hope you’ll sit with it. Let the poems breathe. Let the stories echo. Let the essays stir something familiar or new.
And if a line stays with you—if a piece makes you pause, remember, or feel seen—I’d be honored if you shared that. Reviews, reflections, even a single sentence, help this book reach others who might need it. Your voice becomes part of the conversation, part of the resonance.
You can leave a review wherever you found the book, or share your thoughts with me directly. Every response is a thread in the tapestry. Every reader makes the collection more complete.
Thank you for reading. Thank you for listening. Thank you for helping these bits of me become something bigger.
